We are the Winebuddys. We bring people together with pleasure. With each other. With good wine and good food.
But of course, also with the winemakers, chefs, olive growers, distillers, cellar masters, restaurant and bar owners we meet along the way. This creates special moments – off the beaten track and behind the scenes. You start the trip with your best buddies. On the way you will meet more of them.
Our trips are connoisseur road trips – high-quality, down-to-earth, honest. We interest and inspire. We are on the road and yet at home everywhere. We discover the “cool” in culinary. Every road trip full of human connections. For experiences that are priceless – and unforgettable.

Luis ist Sommelier und Restaurantfachmann. Er navigiert euch deshalb sicher durch alle kulinarischen Erfahrungen – und kennt anschließend auch noch die richtigen Geheimtipps für Bars oder Clubs, die nicht nicht von Touristenhorden überlaufen sind.
Maria
Roadtrip-Guide
Maria ist auf einem Weingut in Portugal aufgewachsen und kennt sich deshalb in Weinberg und Weinkeller aus wie sonst kaum jemand. Doch auch bei allen anderen Genuss-Highlights sorgt sie dafür, dass ihr besondere Einblicke bekommt und exklusive Spezialitäten probieren dürft.
Christian
Chief Buddy Portugal
Christian ist oberster Winebuddy in Portugal. Er kümmert sich um Partnerschaften mit Winzern, Restaurantchefs, Farmern, Produzenten und weitere Highlights, aus denen unsere Roadtrip bestehen. Als ehemaliger Weinhändler ist er bestens vernetzt und öffnet für unsere Buddy-Gruppen Türen, die normalen Touristen verschlossen bleiben.
WINEBUDDYS – HOW IT ALL STARTED
At the end of the 80s, we, Axel and Fabi, went to Portugal together for the first time – in an orange VW flatbed truck. In the process, we fell madly in love with the country and were there countless times.
For us, Portugal is the “European California”: a breathtaking west coast with amazing beaches, fantastic weather, and relaxed people.
But there’s also a new wind blowing here when it comes to future-oriented topics such as design, architecture or start-ups. Especially in the food sector and with good, yet affordable wines, a new young, highly educated generation has replaced the old guard and is now playing in the first league internationally. At some point it became clear to us: We want to let others share in this fascination – not as tourists, but as buddies. Enough history – now we are looking forward to new pleasure adventures with you.
